Chocolate Cherry Cupcake
Ingredients
- 10-12 cherries
- Water as required
- 3 tbsp Mawana Select Brown Sugar
- 1 tsp cardamom powder
- 4 eggs
- 1/2 cup Mawana Select Caster Sugar
- 200 gm refined flour
- 2 tbsp cocoa powder
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 cup orange juice
- 200 gm dark chocolate
- 250 gm hung curd
- 1 tsp cinnamon powder
- 2 tbsp Mawana Select Icing Sugar

Preparations
- In a pan add cherries, water, Mawana Select Brown sugar, cardamom powder and cook untill caramelised.
- In a mixing bowl blend eggs using Usha Hand Mixer. Add Mawana Select Caster Sugar and mix.
- In another bowl add refined flour, cocoa powder, baking powder and mix.
- Add the flour mixture into the egg mixture and fold them using cut & fold method. Add orange juice and keep folding. Add the cherry mixture, dark chocolate and mix well.
- Pour the batter into a lined cupcake tray and bake in the Usha OTG at 180˚ for 30 mins.
- In bowl add hung curd, cinnamon powder, Mawana Select Icing Sugar and mix to prepare the icing
- Garnish with the icing and cherries.
